Please read these Terms and Conditions carefully before using the Esslo.org website.

Your access to and use of the Service is conditioned upon your acceptance of and compliance with these Terms. These Terms apply to all visitors, users and others who wish to access or use the Service.

Use of Service

Esslo provides you with a restricted, non-transferable license to utilize the service for your personal, non-commercial use.

Disclaimers

We reserve the right to terminate or suspend access to our service without prior notice, for any reason, including if you breach the Terms.

Content found on Esslo is for informational purposes only. Users are required to maintain academic integrity and comply with the guidelines and requirements of the institutions and programs they are applying to. Users who employ Esslo in ways that breach the ethical standards and admissions guidelines of their academic institutions risk having their access to the service terminated. Any behavior considered illegal or in violation of academic integrity will be reported to the appropriate authorities and/or institutions.

Payment

Users have the option to buy a plan via our Service. All transactions are handled by our third-party payment processor, Stripe. When you purchase a plan, you consent to pay the stated price and adhere to any terms specific to the service. Additionally, you agree to abide by Stripe’s terms of service.

Refunds and Subscriptions

Purchases are non-refundable after essay feedback is given. Subscriptions can be canceled at any time. If the subscription is canceled, you will continue to have access to the Service until the end of the billing cycle.

We reserve the right to modify or discontinue the subscription plans we offer. Should there be any changes to your subscription plan, we will inform you beforehand.

Limitation of Liability

Under no circumstances will Esslo, its employees, partners, suppliers, or affiliates be responsible for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages. This includes, but is not limited to, loss of profits, data, use, goodwill, or other intangible losses arising from (i) your ability or inability to access or use the Service; (ii) any content obtained through the Service; and (iii) unauthorized access, use, or modification of your transmissions or content. This applies regardless of whether the liability is based on warranty, contract, tort (including negligence), or any other legal theory, even if we have been advised of the possibility of such damages.

Governing Law

The laws of California, United States, will govern these Terms, without giving effect to any principles of conflicts of law. Not enforcing any right or provision under these Terms should not be deemed a waiver of those rights. If a court finds any part of these Terms invalid or unenforceable, the other provisions will still be valid and enforceable. These Terms represent the whole agreement between us concerning our Service and replace any previous agreements we might have had about the Service.

Changes

We reserve the right to modify or replace these Terms at any time. By continuing to access or use our Service after any revisions become effective, you agree to be bound by the revised terms. If you do not agree to the new terms, you are no longer authorized to use the Service.
